The Business of Sickness—Children, The New Sacrificial Lamb

“70% of mental health problems have their onset during childhood or adolescence.”

When people hear the term mental illness most envision those affected as being unable to function in society. Some may equate the condition to the characters and treatment in the movie “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” with Jack Nicholson as a reasonable assessment. Let me tell you, this is certainly not the case; mental illness should not be viewed as a label or in a negative light. Depression is a form of mental illness and for the past twenty-two months most young and old have felt depressed in some form.

Depression cannot be seen in most cases but there are visible signs: apathy, moodiness, anti-social behavior, fear, loss of joy or being introverted. If you know what to look for you can see it everywhere; when shopping, watch how some people mask-up and behave.

This article is not about masks, it is about what they have become to represent and how quickly they changed our perspective. I oftentimes walk mask-less; if you know the science, you know the masks cannot repel the 1 micron size of the virus. At best the masks are a show that you are being compliant and following orders, even though many know they offer little to no protection. As a scientist, I experiment how people react, I recall the time when one gentleman entered the store without a mask and pulled his jacket over his mouth. When he saw me, he relaxed but once passed, he pulled it up again when passing others. We must admit, our social behavior has definitely changed, not to mention the negative factors and motivations that are now constantly present in our lives.

I have heard the term “disease spreaders” applied to those not wearing masks—these folks obviously do not realize that in general they carry three hundred and eighty trillion viruses in or around their own body without which they would be dead. If the mainstream media is your only source of information, I would encourage you to understand that their narrative is like a rollercoaster with its hills, turns and rapid descent—it is a thrill ride of fear that makes one sick, yet, you should be able to see beyond the veil of deception.

Most adults quickly learn to cope and comply but it is the children that concern me most. Some children panic when the mask is not applied because they have been programmed to believe it is their defence against a deadly disease. They also adapt while in school and when playing with friends—they quickly associate people with masks as being normal. This certainly is not the case, for the survival rate of children with confirmed cases is approximately 99.99% or higher.[1]

Masking children has never been done before; it is another new experiment without any long-term study results. Children are very interactive and respond to facial cues and expressions more than to what they hear. Another relevant argument is that wearing a face mask for up to seven hours per day—10 for students in extracurricular—along with social distancing in school and constant reminders of danger does not only present hygiene risks but most importantly significant mental health risks. The court in Weimar, Germany ordered the schools to end the mandates, declaring that they damaged the “mental, physical and spiritual well-being” of students while failing to offer “any discernible benefit for the children themselves or for third parties.”[2]

The information is not new. For example the 203 page document “The Human Face of Mental Health and Mental Illness in Canada”[3] from 2006 already spoke about the fragility of children’s mental health and the damages that a situation similar to the current one could trigger, since 70% of mental health problems have their onset during childhood or adolescence.

This is why studies on the pandemic situation have been conducted and the results are most certainly not positive; according to Liam Casey from the CBC report, “70% of children experienced deterioration of mental health in 1st wave.”[4] A study, which surveyed more than 1,000 parents and 350 children, was launched to examine the effects of the pandemic on young people’s mental health. Dr. Daphne Korczak, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children says that children cry more often and more easily, (…) they are less able to tolerate disappointment, less motivated to get involved in activities, are restless, bored and have a sense of loneliness and hopelessness.”[5]

If forcing our children to wear masks to “protect” them from a virus they are immune to and risking their long-term mental health is not enough, what will come next? Our illustrious leaders seem to love throwing caution to the wind; next up will be five to eleven-year-old children to experiment on their immune system with the COVID-19 jab. Yet children have been isolated as they pose absolute minimal risk of death, equal to the seasonal flu. According to an article by Richard Harris from May 2021, “to date, out of more than 74 million children in the United States, there have been about 300 COVID-19 deaths and a few thousand serious illnesses. By comparison, the CDC registered 188 flu-related deaths in children during the 2019-2020 flu season.”[6]

Let’s play the devil’s advocate: why would the Canadian government in cahoots with health authorities be willing to risk the lives of the least vulnerable group and vaccinate them in mass with an experimental mRNA jab that has not completed its initial trial and was released under emergency use with no long-term safety data? If there is no logical reason, perhaps there is a financial one. Could it be profit motivated, with children becoming customers for life? “This is why the government has worked tirelessly to rebuild Canada’s domestic biomanufacturing sector by focusing on both quick strategic actions and a long‑term vision. Since the start of the pandemic, over $1.2 billion has been invested to rebuild Canada’s vaccines, therapeutics and biomanufacturing capacity.”[7]

I have a suggestion: why don’t you do an experiment to see how many fruit flies can fit and stay on a maple leaf in the midst of a snow storm while Celine Dion sings the national anthem at the famous intersection of Portage and Main in Winnipeg, and keep your evil, grubby, filthy hands off our children!
